One of this summer’s favorite animals will be leaving us for a short time. Our triplet goats, Princess, Petunia and Pansey will be going back to their home farm for the winter.
They’ll be able to breed there with a buck (or male goat). Two of the females will return in early April and hopefully will have several kids each, shortly afterwards. Gestation for goats is right at five months. They have been a tremendous hit with our visitors in their enclosure in our Maasai Village area of A Step Into Africa, as well as with our keepers. They’ll be even more exciting with five plus kids running around!
