Zoo keepers and animals are busy preparing for the Seneca Park Zoo’s annual Animal Art Expo, to take place from 7 to 10 p.m. this Saturday, November 10 in the Zoo’s Z.O.T. Zone.
This 21-and -older event benefits the Seneca Park Zoo’s Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers; money raised will go to support local, national and international conservation efforts, as well as keeper development and animal enrichment for the animals here at the Zoo.

Check out the artistic talents of some of our most famous Zoo residents, such as our African elephants “Genny C” and “Lilac” as well as some lesser-known critters: “Papa Roach” (a Madagascan hissing cockroach). There’s art for everyone’s taste! Paintings may be purchased by cash, check or credit card.
Cost: In advance (until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9): $4 for members and $6 for non-members in the Zoo’s Front Office. Please note: Only cash and check are accepted and tickets are sold from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
At the door: $5 for members and $7 for non-members,. Credit card, cash and check accepted.
So if your looking for that unique Christmas gift, or just want a really original piece of artwork for your home, look no further. The Seneca Park Zoo’s Animal Art Expo is where it’s at!

Credit cards are accepted at the Expo to purchase paintings!
Did all the pictures sell? We couldn’t make it but I’d like to see anything left over esp a cat or deer or bear. Love the Lilac one!
