Males Sailor and Skipper.
If you’ve visited the Zoo’s North American river otter exhibit over the last couple of months, you may have noticed that that our current female residents, Heather and Sara, have some company.

This summer we acquired two male otters, Sailor and Skipper. Just like in human relationships, otters prefer interacting with certain otters and not others. Currently, we are trying to work out everyone’s differences so that we can exhibit all four otters on exhibit at the same time. Keep checking back and hopefully soon, you can say “hi” to Heather, Sara, Sailor and Skipper as they enjoy their exhibit together!
